Easter Sunday Schedule

On Easter Sunday, March 31, Morning Worship will start at 10:40 AM. The service will include communion, congregational worship and the Adult Choir musical (Because We Believe).

Sunday School will start at 10:00 AM.

We will not have evening services on Easter Sunday.

Upward Game Day

Christmas Concert with Bryan Hutson

Join us on Friday, December 14 at 7:00 PM for a Christmas concert featuring Bryan Hutson and the Foothills Choir.

Selections will includes your Christmas favorites, classic gospel songs and a couple of surprises.

Bryan Hutson is the former lead singer of the Kingsmen Quartet and the current lead singer of Soul’d Out Quartet. Don’t miss this rare solo performance!

The Foothills Choir is a community ensemble directed by Carmen Butler that includes members from Rutherford and surrounding counties.

Everyone is welcome to attend!

Admission is free. An offering will be received to help offset the expenses.

Come Join Our AWANA Club!

Join us for AWANA Club every Sunday from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM. We have classes for Preschool, Children and Teens ages 2 through high school.

AWANA Club combines fun games with activities and bible verse memorization to teach students important truths about God’s Word.

Adults are encouraged to come at the same time that AWANA meets. We have several Discipleship Training classes for Adults starting at 6:00 PM followed by our Evening Worship service at 7:00 PM in the church sanctuary!

Church Picnic!

We are having a church picnic at South Mountain Christian Camp in Bostic on Saturday, August 25. Come at 10:00 AM or even earlier if you want to fish!

We will eat at 12:00 Noon. Bring food to share. Plenty of water and soft drinks will be provided.

Bring your bats and gloves for a softball game starting at 2:00 PM. We can also hike, play disc golf, horseshoes, etc.

Contact Melinda Medford if you’re interested in riding paddle boats. These require a lifeguard and an extra fee, so we need to know in advance if enough people are interested.

Vacation Bible School

Join us for Vacation Bible School this year. We will have classes for ALL ages including babies and adults.

Our theme this year is Amazing Wonders Aviation.

Dates for VBS are July 15-19 (Sunday-Thursday).

VBS starts at 6:00 PM each evening and ends at 8:30 PM.

We will be having Family Night on Thursday evening this year rather than on Friday. On Thursday, everyone should report to their class at 6:00 PM for a 45-minute lesson. Family Night will start at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary.

Kids Off To Camp

Pray for the kids from church who will be at South Mountain Baptist Camp this week, and pray for the workers, too! They met at in the Family Life Center for lunch today before heading to camp.

If you want to send them some mail, be sure to put it in the box tomorrow, June 12 to ensure they receive it before camp is over. The camp’s address is:
